VinWonders Phu Quoc is the island’s big theme park: about 50 hectares of rides, themed streets, a water park and a big aquarium, built by Vingroup on the north-west coast at Bai Dai, next to Vinpearl Safari and Grand World. It was formerly called Vinpearl Land, a name you will still see, and it is one of the most-reviewed places on the island: 4.8 on Google Maps from 18,658 reviews (October 2026).
Reviewers keep comparing it to Disneyland — for the fairy-tale castle and the scale, and because queues are short most of the time. The common complaints are the heat, staff who speak little English, and rides that are closed for maintenance on the day.
Tickets and opening hours
Prices from the official booking site, checked on 14 October 2026:
| Ticket | Adult (140 cm+) | Child 100–139 cm / senior 60+ |
|---|---|---|
| VinWonders, one day | 1,050,000 dong | 800,000 dong |
| VinWonders + Safari, one day | 1,500,000 dong | 1,100,000 dong |
| VinWonders + Safari + Teddy Bear Museum, two days | 1,700,000 dong | 1,300,000 dong |
- Children under 1 m go free. The child price is by height, not age.
- The water park is included — there is no separate ticket. Online tickets also include a same-day visit to the Teddy Bear Museum at Grand World.
- Hours: 9:00–19:30 every day. Reviewers say some rides do not start until about 10:00, so arriving at opening gives you a quiet first hour for photos.
- Older prices of 950,000 dong still circulate online; they date from 2025. Book on the official site or at the gate; extras such as fast passes, buggy rides and buffet lunches are sold as add-ons.
The six zones
- European Boulevard (Đại lộ châu Âu) — the entrance street and the castle, where the parades and the night show happen.
- Fairy Tale World (Thế giới diệu kỳ) — the gentler rides, the best area for small children.
- Secret Village — a Viking-themed area.
- Adventure World — the big rides, themed on the Maya, Greece and the South American jungle. Reviewers single out the roller coasters and the skate ride, and the Ferris wheel for the view.
- Whirlpool World (Thế giới lốc xoáy) — the water park, with slides and pools. Lockers and towels can be rented.
- Sea Shell Palace (Cung điện Hải Vương) — the aquarium inside a building shaped like a giant turtle, with a walk-through shark tunnel and the mermaid show. It is air-conditioned and, for many families, the highlight.

Height limits. About 50 of the rides, including many water slides, have minimum heights from 100 cm up to 145 cm, and staff enforce them strictly. Several parents of toddlers found that most rides were off-limits under 1 m; with small children, plan on the aquarium, the Fairy Tale World and the shows.
Shows (October 2026)
| Show | Time | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Mermaid show | 14:00 (and 15:30, check on the day) | Sea Shell Palace |
| Water park dance | 16:30 | Whirlpool World |
| Carnival parade | 17:00–17:30 | European Boulevard |
| ONCE, the night show with water, fire and lights | 18:45–19:05 | European Boulevard |
Times are from the park’s official page; they change, so check the app or the boards inside. The night show is the one reviewers tell you not to miss.

Planning the day
- Allow a full day. Most reviewers say one day is just enough; the two-day combo is worth it if you also want the safari without rushing.
- Go early, and do the big rides first, then the water park in the heat of the afternoon and the aquarium when you need the air-conditioning. One family’s plan: anti-clockwise round the park, finishing with the water park.
- Bring swimwear and a towel, sandals, sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle. Reviewers are split on food prices inside: some found them only a little higher than outside, others pricey.
- VinWonders or the safari first? If you have one day, do the safari in the morning (it closes at 16:00 and the animals are more active early) and VinWonders from midday to the night show.
Getting there
VinWonders is at the Bai Dai complex in the north-west, about 25 km (30 minutes) by road from Duong Dong and 33 km (40 minutes) from the airport (OSRM routing estimates). Grab cars come and go all day. The VinBus electric buses run from the airport, Long Beach hotels and Bai Vong port to Grand World, and are free if you show a VinWonders, Safari or Grand World ticket QR code; see getting around Phu Quoc. If you are staying at a Vinpearl resort, there are free shuttles to the park.
For the other parks and shows on the island, see theme parks and shows; travelling with children, see the family guide.
