A massage is one of the best-value treats on Phu Quoc, and there is a day spa on almost every street in Duong Dong, Long Beach, Grand World and Sunset Town. Quality varies a lot, though. This guide lists the spas with the strongest Google ratings and the most reviews (October 2026), and what reviewers say to watch out for.
How it works
- Treatments: the standard menu is a full-body massage (Vietnamese, Thai or aromatherapy oil), foot massage, hot stones, body scrubs and a “head spa” hair wash. Sessions run 60–90 minutes. Many spas also do nails.
- Pick-up: many day spas offer free pick-up and drop-off from your hotel — ask when you book, often through WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or Zalo.
- Pressure: good spas give you a short form or ask about pressure and areas to avoid. Say so if it hurts, and if hot stones are too hot.
- Families: several spas have family rooms and do gentle massages for children.
Before you pay
The complaints in reviews are consistent, and easy to avoid:
- Paying up front. Most spas take payment before the treatment. Check the price on the printed menu, and that the time you pay for is the time you get.
- “Discounts”. Some reviewers found the “discounted” price was the normal price. Compare the menu with what you are quoted.
- Uneven therapists. Even at top-rated places, a few reviewers got an inexperienced therapist. If a massage feels wrong, say so early.
- Tipping is not required, but many visitors leave a tip for a good therapist — give it to them directly.
The best-reviewed day spas
Duong Dong
Most of the busiest spas are on Tran Hung Dao Street, the road running south from town towards Long Beach.
- YUJU Spa — 99A Tran Hung Dao, 4.9 from 5,897 reviews, open 6:00–midnight. The most-reviewed spa on the island, with a café and nail salon; reviewers mention free pick-up.
- Fiona Spa — 20 Tran Hung Dao, 4.8 from 3,983, open 10:00–22:00. Private rooms with showers; strong hot-stone massages.
- Glow Day Spa — 108 Tran Hung Dao, 4.9 from 1,398.
- Little Win Spa — 114 Tran Hung Dao, 4.9 from 1,391.
- Thanh Tra Spa — 4.9 from 1,223, open until midnight.
Grand World and Bai Dai
- Herbs Spa (Grand World) — 4.9 from 2,950, open 10:00–23:00. The most consistently praised in the north; reviewers who tried both its Grand World and Sunset Town branches rated them equally.
- La Spa 3 (Grand World) — massage and nails, 4.9 from 1,694.
Long Beach (Sonasea)
- The Bay Spa & Nail — Sonasea, 4.8 from 3,031, open 9:00–22:00. Popular for four-hands massage and family rooms; reviews are more mixed than the top spas in town.
Sunset Town
- Hanz Sunset Spa — 4.8 from 1,184, open 9:00–23:30. Reviewers mention a welcome drink, free shuttle and a good foot massage after a day at the cable car.
The mud bath
Versailles Mud Bath, Spa & Beach Club, on northern Long Beach (4.7 from 1,018), is the island’s mud-bath spot: a private mud bath, then a steam, a massage and the rest of the afternoon on its beach. Reviewers say not to judge it by the shabby entrance. Many book a mud bath and massage combo through Klook.

Resort spas
For a top-end treatment, the five-star resorts have their own spas, open to non-guests by booking — the Harnn spa at the InterContinental on Long Beach is one of the most mentioned in reviews. Expect several times the price of a day spa. See our luxury resorts guide.
