The Phu Quoc Cable Car connects Anh Duong (Ánh Dương) station in An Thoi (An Thới) with Hon Thom (Hòn Thơm) Island in about 15 minutes. A round-trip ticket is 850,000 VND for anyone over 1.4 m (children 1.0–1.4 m pay 700,000 VND; under 1.0 m ride free).
Where the cable car station is
The start station — Anh Duong station, formerly known as An Thoi station — sits inside Sunset Town, a Sun World complex in An Thoi at the southern tip of Phu Quoc Island. It’s about 20 km from the airport; figure 20–40 minutes by taxi depending on traffic. The end station is on Hon Thom Island, the largest island of the An Thoi archipelago, often called “Pineapple Island.”
Sunset Town itself is worth a wander before or after the ride — an entertainment quarter built around the station, with the Kiss Bridge among its landmarks.

The height bands changed in 2026 — they used to split at 1.3 m, not 1.4 m. This round-trip ticket already includes entry to Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, Exotica Village (Làng Exotica), and the Aquatopia water park, so there’s no need to buy a separate park ticket. The one combo Sun World sells on top of it is the cable car round-trip plus lunch buffet: 1,150,000 VND for an adult, 900,000 VND for a child 1.0–1.4 m, free under 1.0 m, with the buffet served 11:00–14:30.

From 1 January 2026, the cable car runs 4 trips a day within three windows: 09:30–11:30, 13:30–14:00, and 15:30–17:30. The operator says these times can shift with weather or maintenance, so check the schedule on the day. The system also closes for a few days at a time now and then for maintenance — check before you go rather than assume it’s running.
The ride
The Phu Quoc Cable Car (Vietnamese: Cáp Treo Hòn Thơm Phú Quốc) has only two stations, one on each island it connects. At 7,899.9 meters, it’s the longest continuous three-cable (3S) aerial car system in the world — a Guinness World Record.
Along the way, the cable car passes over Hon Roi (Hòn Rỏi) and Hon Dua (Hòn Dừa), two islands in the An Thoi archipelago known for green-blue water and tiny islets ringed by coral — part of the best snorkeling in Phu Quoc. Ride around midday and the sunlight can pick out the coral reefs through the clear, calm water below.
Both stations share an “east meets west” fusion design; the Phu Quoc Island station is built to resemble ancient Rome’s Colosseum.
The cable car ends at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, an eco-tourism-themed park on Hon Thom Island. Phu Quoc’s other big theme parks — VinWonders Phu Quoc (formerly Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc) and Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc — are at the other end of the island, near Ganh Dau in the north.
