The two small brewpubs this page used to list on Long Beach have gone (the Czech-style Bia Tươi Tiệp at 68 Tran Hung Dao is marked permanently closed on Google Maps), and the brewing now happens at Sun Group’s Phu Quoc Brew House in Sunset Town, An Thoi. East West Brewing, from Ho Chi Minh City, has opened a taproom on Long Beach, and a couple of Sunset Town restaurants pour craft beer alongside their food.

Sun Group’s Phu Quoc Brew House opened in January 2025. It covers about 2,200 m² over three floors and can produce 2.7 million litres a year, working with the German brewing company Braukon. A glass front lets you look in on the brewing tanks from outside.
Its beer goes to the Sun Bavaria GastroPub and to Sun Group’s attractions and hotels on the island. Sun Group opened its Sun Bavaria beer restaurant on the central beach in November 2024: a German-style hall with a red domed roof, room for close to 1,000 people indoors and out, its Sun KraftBeer in six styles poured from 14 tanks, and live music and shows in the evening. On Google Maps it is listed as Sun Bavaria GastroPub, with close to 5,000 reviews, the most of any place on this page.
East West Brewing taproom
Where: 152 Tran Hung Dao, Cua Lap, on the beach at WorldHotels Long Beach Resort
East West Brewing, which also has venues in Ho Chi Minh City, Quy Nhon and Da Nang, opened this taproom in January 2026, about ten minutes from the airport. For now the beer is brewed elsewhere and served here; the company has said it plans to add a full brewery on the site. It used the opening to launch Good Times Lager, a 4.2% lager also sold in cans.
