Vietnam takes its coffee seriously, and Phu Quoc is no exception. Most of the island’s best cafés line Tran Hung Dao Street, the road that runs from Duong Dong down the length of Long Beach, so you are rarely more than a few minutes from a good cup if you stay there. This guide lists the cafés with the strongest Google Maps ratings and the most reviews (October 2026), and what visitors order.
What to order
- Cà phê sữa đá — strong drip coffee over ice with sweet condensed milk. Ask for ít ngọt (less sweet) if you prefer.
- Cà phê muối (salt coffee) — coffee topped with a lightly salted cream. The drink most reviewers on Phu Quoc rave about.
- Cà phê trứng (egg coffee) — coffee under a thick, sweet whipped egg-yolk cream, a Hanoi speciality that many cafés here serve, sometimes warmed over a candle.
- Coconut coffee — iced coffee blended with coconut cream.
- Bạc xỉu — a milky iced coffee, gentler than cà phê sữa đá.
